Service drop to low, meter socket not to standard, exposed conductors. Service for the two rear building appears undersized. Third building feed from second building is a 100 amp service with no mian disconnecting means from a 60 amp panel 30 amp single pole breaker. TEP cut and removed service conductors to all units. |

Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units were looking for hot spots and the fire investigators looking for cause. The fire was on the east building on the property on the east side at the top of the wall in the attic space area. There was electrical in the area and all the wiring was damaged by the fire. Had a 2" conduit on the exterior of the building at the top and that has fallen due to the unistrut has come loose and not able to stay on the wall. The metal security doors were forced opened and one was damaged and was boarded up by the owner. The wires were cut at the pole due to the amount of damage to the electrical wiring in the attic area. The fire did not come past the ceiling line through out. The wood trusses had metal corrigated iron on the roof on 1x ribbons or nailers. The gas meter has been removed prior to the fire and was capped on the riser on the east side of the property. The owner did show to the property and signed the paperwork and got the renter to have the building secured. Did the posting of Do Not Enter on the plywood covering the doorway. Did call Rick Hollander to look at the electrical due to was removing the electrical to the front unit and was not attached the structure that burned. T.E.P. call a designer to look at the electrical system due to the way the power was connected. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
