Have talk to the owner and the interior of the house has been cleaned. The tempoary fencing has been removed and placed on the interior of the property. The contractor that was hired by the insurance has installed other fence panels and secured with steel posts in the ground. Did call Biff Baker Fence to have the loose panels and tee posts picked up tomorrow that were used for temporary fencing. Did let the owner know that the case will be closed and that permits will be required to have the electrical and the gas turned back on. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
05/11/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved The property is vacant and secured. Some of the vehicles have been removed from the property. Did talk to the owner and the vehicles are being repaired and the insurance has been to the site and have been working with the owner. The interior is currently being cleaned the interior if being checked for other work that is going to be required to move back in. Will check in 60 days. RV.
04/19/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the owner listed on the LLC. and the house has been broken into and the hasp on the front door has been removed and the wood frame shed had the door on the right side opened. The door had 2 x 4s on the inside and was forced opened. The wood frame shed on the south side of the property has also has been opened. All the structures have been gone through looking for items. The owner listed has called the police department and got a case number. The owner listed was not able to have the property secured and gave permission to have the property secured. Arcaiden Industries was called to the property and secured 4-doors with plywood that were not secured when the property was secured. Will keep the same follow up date for the next inspection 5-4-17. RV.
03/28/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the property to have the locks changed due to the attorney for the City of Tucson Blake Ashley has advised that the attorney for the person who was shot has control of the property and not the daughter of the owner. Have talk to the daughter of the owner to let her know the decision that was made and was OK. Will be meeting with the attorney of the person shot to give the paper work that was served to the daughter. Will call when to meet. RV.
