The mobile home is owner occupied and still has a smell. The owner has scheduled for a pest control to come and treat the interior of the mobile home for the roaches. Did install the smoke detectrors and the owner was given permssion to start staying in the mobile home. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
09/30/2016 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the owner and the supervisor and went over the different option that will be exceptable to be in compliance. The owner will be given until Friday and will check the mobile home and if not completed, the mobile home may be condemned. Did show the supervisor all the areas of concern and went over the issues that needed to be corrected. Will check on Friday. RV.
09/29/2016 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the site and the owner was sleeping. Did check the work and is not cmpleted. The carpet still has some animal waste that is stuck to the carpet. The smell of the urine still exist. Has roaches through out with a lot of the little roaches. The roaches are all over the furniture, boxes, counter tops, papers on the floor and near the cat food in the kitchen area. Did talk to the owner and went over different option and will be meeting with the owner tomorrow at 10:00 AM to review the case and the results of the clean up. Some items did get moved around but not removed from the interior. Did let the owner know that the supervisor will be making the decision if the property will be condemned or recommendation on the clean up going to be required. Will check tomorrow. RV.
08/31/2016 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the site due to in the area and took the supervisor to look at the progress of the cleaning of the interior of the property. Not much has been done and appears that the owner was lounging and stated that he was going into the shower. Will check on the same follow date on 9-15-16. RV.
07/28/2016 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with the owner and was given permission to inspect the mobile home. The owner is staying in she rear section of the mobile home of a bedroom and a bathroom is part of the bedroom. The kitchen has some clutteredness but able to get around. The living room has boxes stored on the floor and hard to walk around. Did find feces on the carpet flooring in the living room. The hallway has a large amount of feces on the carpet and walked around to look into the bathroom and bedroom in the front of the mobile home. The bathroom and the bedroom in the front of the mobile home has a large amount of feces and also piled. The feces is piled to where not able to walk into the bathroom or the bedroom. The smell is heavy and the ordor is going out the windows to the neighbors. There is a slider panel on the window in the living room that is off the track and laying on the curtain. Did call Rick Saldate the supervisor to check on condemn the property and was given permission to condemn the mobile home. Did do the posting on the front window and the window by the side door where the owner is entering the mobile home. Did meet with the management and was able to talk to the owner of the mobile home park and she will make contact with the owner of the mobile home to get the property cleaned up. Did go over what the interior of the mobile home was like and the park has issues with the owner of the mobile home due to the amount of cats in the mobile home. Inspector Hollander was on site to assist on the inspection. Did let the owner of the park know the condition that the owner of the mobile home can be on the property. They were both told that the owner of the mobile home has to be out by dark and can come back at daylight to only work on the house or clean. Once posted and took pictures, left the site. Will check in 30 days. RV.
07/27/2016 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the property and no one home and the truck not on site. Did leave cards on both doors for the owner to call. Did meet with the security to let them know that no one home and the vehicle was gone. Will try tomorrow. RV.
