The fire was on the bottom unit and was started with a grill fire on the porch. The upper deck was damaged with the stucco on the bottom. The sliding glass door and window to the living room area by the front door was broken during the fire. The sliding glass door has been replaced with new, the upper deck has all been replaced with new and like for like. The damage stucco has been removed and the foam is being installed to do the stucco repairs. Some drywall has been removed in the living room area where the fire fighters made holes in the wall to check for fire. Did not find a permit and met with the manager and she called the contractor to talk to. Did advise that a permit is required and was written on the Notice of Violation and the manager made a copy and sent it to the contractor. Will go back to the office to check with pictures if the permit is required or not. Will call the contractor back. Will check in 10 days. RV. |
