At site, I spoke to the owners daughter, Halie. She stated that she and her son, Andre didn't live here. The back yard is full of refuse/storage items. Both side yards have a smaller amout of refuse/storage also. I asked if I could see the living conditions inside the home and was told no. I informed my suervisor Martin R. about the back yard, the little boy and the history of the home owners as hoardes. Inspector A. Smith and I were here about 2+ years ago for the same issues. He informed my to call TPD. TPD was also denied access to see inside the home, but this time it was by the homeowners. I informed Martin R. and he stated that we would get a search warrant to enter the property tomorrow. I issued a hand-written NOV for the refuse and storage items. |
