Date Description Inspector Results Comments
02/11/2016 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the fire was in the carport area in the rear of the house. The fire did not enter the main house where the living area is located. There was a wall that separated the carport from the main house. The north wall is a wood frame wall with a 1-coat system on the framing. The stucco has heat damage and will need to be checked. The 2-car carport is a total lost and needs to be demo'ed and replaced with new with a permit. The property has fencing around the property and the gates are locked by the owner. Did have a vehicle in the carport and that burned and also a total lost. The wires for the service were burned in the fire and wires were cut at the pole. The gas meter was pinned due to lacking electrical to the property and will be turned back on once the electrical has been turned back on. Once the electrical is back on, will need to call Southwest Gas to let them know and the gas will be turned back on. The owner will be able to stay in the house and was told that the power will be turned back on and will be sending a crew to install new wiring. The owner signed the paper work. Will check in 60 days. RV.
