Received call from communication that T.F.D. on site with a car through building. Arrived and the fire units were on scene checking on the vehicle. T.P.D. on site checking if the vehicle could be pulled out. The vehicle was in the kitchen area with the front tires on the exterior wall location. The wood frame wall with foam and 1-coat system stucco with drywall on the interior was pushed in with the wood studs broken. There was a metal corner brace in the wall that was loose and removed. The vehicle was wedged against the bearing wall in the rear of the building. The wall that was hit was non-bearing. The wood studs were removed with the stucco to remove the vehilce. The owner of the building called a contractor to cover the opening with a board up. The electrical was turned off at the main breaker on the exterior panel and placed a City of Tucson lock. T.E.P. was not able to come to the site due to an outage. Did call communication to cancell the T.E.P. call due to leaving the site. The tenants did go to another location to stay. Did do the posting of "Do Not Enter"on the front window. Took pictures and had the owner sign the paper work. Once the contractor secured the building left the site. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
