Met with the manager of the property and went over that the call came in for doors being propped opened in the corridors. Did do an inspection on all the doors of the corridors on 3-floors. Did find some doors not able to open due to the closers were jambed or stuck or had to be forced opened. Doors through out had stoppers on the bottom of the doors or wedged with cardboard or items to hold the doors opened. The exterior light fixtures are missing globes or the fixture are loose and not secured properly. Some of the doors have been changed from original on the exterior doors with glass doors. Some of the glass has been changed in the doors in the corridors and are lacking wire in the glass and found no labels for safety or tempered glass. Have some ceiling tiles that are missing or brokened through out in the corridors. Did have a meeting room where the ceiling needs to be checked if the tie wires are loose or if they are fastened due to shows where not even with the other parts of the ceiling. Will need to meet with Tucson Fire to Review this case with them. RV. |
