08/12/2015 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Martin Romero the supervisor called that communication called that T.F.D. was on site with a car through building. Arrived and T.P.D. had left the site and T.F.D. was site. The vehicle was still in place into the building. The vehicle hit the storage room on the southwest side and that was the only damage to the building. Did check the interior of the house near the living room which was near the impact area. Did find a small crack by the sliding glass door on the left hand side and not able to determine if the crack was new. Did ask the tenants if the crack was new and they did not know. The tenants will be able to remain in the unit. Did take picture and the owner of the vehicle did remove the vehicle from the building. The corner studs were broken or puched in and that was a support for the beam for the porch on the south side of the house. Maintainence was on site and had already called a contractor to secure the beam and cover the opening made by the vehicle. Did meet with management and they signed the paper work. Do go over what needs to be done to keep the area secured and that a permit is required for the repairs. Will check in 45 days. RV. |
