Inspector Bigman and I meet with the Ranch Manager on site. He explained the O2-Composting process to us. The manure is heated to between 160 and controlled by air injection that can be regulated. This kills all bacteria and eliminates the smell. When done the compost is like a high-grade top soil dirt. He explained that they use the compost to help with the growing of the fields to feed the horses. They also share at no cost to the neighbors. We suggested that a screen might be placed to reduce the view. He said the he had the equipment to do the post and would look into that. He will call me with a time frame. |
