VISITED SITE, MET WITH TFD INVESTIGATORS WHO INFORMED ME FIRE STARTED IN THE REAR BEDROOM OF UNIT #106 AND FIRE WAS CONFINED WITH IN THE BEDROOM AND CLOSET.
** MET WITH LANDLORD EMIEL METZGER WHO STATED THE TENANT HAD JUST MOVED IN, HAD ONLY OCCUPIED THE UNIT FOR 2 DAYS. EMIEL ASKED HE BE ALLOWED TO SECURE THE REAR WINDOW AND ASKED IF HE COULD CHANGE THE LOCK ON THE FRONT DOOR, I OK'ED BOTH.
SPOKE WITH TENANT WHITNEY WHO INFORMED ME THAT SHE WOULD STAY WITH A FRIEND TONIGHT BUT THAT TFD HAD CONTACTED RED CROSS TO PUT HER UP AFTER.
>TFD HAD CALLED TEP AND POWER WAS SHUT OF AT THE MAIN DISCONNECT
> TFD CONTACTED S/W GAS. THERE WAS NO GAS TO THE UNITS AND LINE TEST CHECKED OUT OK
>TFD HAD CONTACTED RED CROSS FOR TENANT PLACEMENT.
>OWNER DID SECURE BEDROOM WINDOW AND CHANGED LOCKS ON THE FRONT DOOR.

FIRE DAMAGE: NOTE ALL EXTERIOR WALLS AND UNIT DIVIDING WALLS ARE BLOCK WALLS. CEILNGS OF THE 1ST FLOOR AND 2ND STORY FLOORS ARE POURED CONCRETE.
> REAR BEDROOM NORTH WALL IS A FURRED OUT WALL, FRAMING OF FURR OUT AND FRAMED CLOSET WALL WERE FIRE DAMAGED. DOORS AND WINDOWS FIRE DAMAGED.
> ALL DRYWALL IN THE BEDROOM AND CLOSET WAS FIRE DAMAGED OR RECEIVED VERY HEAVY SMOKE DAMAGE.
>ELECTRIC WIRING IN THE BEDROOM, SWITCHES AND OUTLETS, AND FIXTURES WERE ALL FIRE DAMAGED AND WIRING LEFT EXPOSED OR MELTED, AND OR HEAT DAMAGED.
>THE LIVINGROOM, KITCHEN AND DINING AREA, HALL AND BATHROOM RECEIVED HEAVY SMOKE DAMAGE.
> REAR BEDROOM BASICALLY GUTTED BY FIRE.

EMERGENCY NOV ORDER TO VACATE WAS ISSUED TO THE OWNER, INDEMNIFICATION PAPERWORK ISSUED TO THE OWNER AND NOTICE OF VIOLATION / PERMITS REQUIRE ALSO WENT TO THE OWNER.
