VAN WAS REMOVED FROM EAST SIDE OF PROPERTY, LARGE VAN FOR "DJ'ING" REMAINS. BACK YARD WAS BEING CLEANED BY CHILDREN OF HE OWNER, AND BEING GIVEN TIME DUE TO HOARDING TENDENCIES OF THE FATHER.
03/15/2016 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved MET WITH RICK SALDATE DUE TO OWNER BEING DIAGNOSED AS HAVING HOARDING TENDENCIES AND SEEING A PHYSCIATRIST FOR THE ISSUE. OWNERS CHILDREN AND WIFE HAVE CLEANED THE FRONT YARD FREE OF GRASS AD WEEDS, TRASH AND DEBRIS CARS ON THE WEST FRONT YARD HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND WHITE VAN ON EAST SIDE REMOVED (MAY HAVE BEEN REPAIRED OR RUNNING) DUE TO VAN NO LONGER THERE. FAMILY WORKING ON THE REAR YARD AND INTERIOR OF PROPERTY. HOUSE HAS BEEN PUT IN WIFE AND SONS NAMES. rRICK STATED BECAUSE OF THE LONG AND DRAWN OUT PROCESS OF CLEANING THE PROPERTY WE WOULD CLOSE OUT THIS CASE BECAUSE OF PROGRESS BEING MADE AND NO FURTHER CALLS HAVE BEEN MADE SINCE 2013. 01/09/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the property to open the door to let the door in. The door has screws to prevent the owner in. The owner showed and removed his medication and got more items he needed to where he is staying now. The owner removed his TV from the wall in the living room and took it to where he staying. Once the owner was done the property was resecured. Will try and get a dumpster for the owners. RV.
01/07/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Did the paper work for the warrant and had it approved by Judge Hale with the assistance of MJ. Once the warrant was approved came to the office to let supervision know that the warrant was approved and will be going to have the warrant served. The warrant was served by T.P.D. and was able to check the interior of the house and was not able to get into 2-bedroom due to excesive storage. The kitchen was not able to find the stove due to items being around and covering the stove. The refrigerator was just outside the pile of trash and debris. The storage was through out and not able to get into the bathrooms and not able to find the light switches. The master bedroom had a fire at one time and no repairs have been made. Some of the electrical has been repaired but still have burned wires or have been cut. Has a broken water line in the ceiling out of P.V.C. in the bathroom area. The rear porch and the carport that has been cover with plywood is full of storage and not allowing the rear doors to be opened. The master bedroom has a door that opens but has clutterness around the area. Not sure if the roof leak due to drywall in the ceilings have fallen in different areas. The rear yard has a garage that has a approx. 10' drop with steps to the bottom. The ceiling to the basement has wood framing with a concrete slab poured over the framed floor. The electrical has double lugging on a 40 amp breaker with light switches to the top and bottom section. The property has several vehicles parked and stored through out the front, rear and sides of the property. Has tall grass and weeds with trash and debris through out the property. The power is being removed by T.E.P. to the property due to the amount of trash and debris in the house and the main electrical service panel needs repairs due to some work has been done and needs to be inspected due to the panel has been changed from the orginal and the feeds to energized the panel have been spliced to be extended for the new connection. Also has a sub-panel in the garage that has been added and needs to be permitted and inspected. Did the posting of "Do Not Enter" on the front window and the owner refused to sign the paper work of Notice to of Violation Notice to Emergency Abatement and Order to Vacate. Bathcrest was called to the property to have all the door openings secured. The garage and storage room has 2-doors. Place a chain and lock on the garage door from the inside to allow the door to be opened. The rear door to the master bedroom had the locks remove and placed on the interior of the door on the ground before boarded up. The dinning room has a pair of doors that go to the exterior and they were boarded up. The front door was screwed shut to allow the owner to gain entry if needs to get items out. Once the property was secured gave a copy of the notice to vacate and left the site with the owner sitting in the front yard. Will do the notice of all the other issues. Gerald was able to make contact with the wife of the owner and they will get the property cleaned up. The neighbors have been advise of any one on the property to call the police due to no one should be on the property unless it's the owner and not at night. Will check in 20 days. RV.
01/06/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Was called by inspector Goodman that T.P.D. on site and was on way to check on the call. Vidal responded to the property to assist on the inspection. Arrived and T.P.D. on site with a burglary call. Was able to gain entry and the owner refuse the inspection and of taking any pictures. The owner was requesting a warrant which was not issued at the time. The inspector did go outside and wait. Did meet with the officers and will be getting a warrant for tomorrow. The property on the interior was observed from the living room and was able to see the living room and the dinning room. The area had trash and debris piled in the house through out and was 4' to 6' high. The hallway was cluttered and not able to see the bedrooms. Will go back to the office and start the process for the warrant. RV.
12/23/2013 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Went to the fire department Station #1 to try and get the records for the fire call done on 12-20-13. Was not able to get the records due to the call was a medical call and was covered under the HIPPA. Did talk to MJ Raciti from the prosecutors office and will need to get with Blake Ashley and the fire prosecutor for fire Dennis McLahghlin. Will wait till next week to start the warrant process. RV.
