Date Description Inspector Results Comments
12/10/2013 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Received a call from Richard Diaz the T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units were doing the overhaul and monitoring the interior for CO. The fire was in the main house and started in the southwest bedroom and the fire went into the hallway. The other bedrooms had the doors closed and the doors were damaged. Has heavy smoke damage through out the house. 3-vent holes were cut on the roof. Holes were made in the plaster ceilings where checking for fire in the attic. The electrical was removed at the panel for the main house to try and keep the other unit occupied. The wiring was pulled from the breakers due to not able to do a lock out on the breakers. The panel feeds both structures. The gas is tied together and found where a union can be removed and install a cap to block the main house for gas and leaving the gas on to the other unit. Pima County owns the structures and will be securing the property. The Red Cross has been called to the site for placement and Pima County is working for another location for the tenants to stay. The Reps. signed the paper work and took pictures and left the site. Will check in 30 days. RV.
