I responded to a request for service from TFD regarding a possible explosion in a townhouse. Upon arrival I found TFD and TPD investigation the explosion. It was determined that the cause of the blast was drug related and an extrapolated investigation requiring the issuance if search warrants would be necessary. There was no fire and the extent of damage was limited to some broken windows. I waited approximately 1.5 hours until TPD determined that the incident was drug related and that they would be conducting the lengthy investigation. At that point, with no structural damage and only broken windows I left the scene as TPD would ultimately have the scene secured after they concluded their investigation. |
