CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE WITH JANE McCOLLUM ON MONDAY 4/15/13 ASKING FOR AN UPDATE ON THE PROPERTY, I WAS ALREADY MADE AWARE OF THE INSURANCE COMPANY BEING THE PROBLEM, BUT ALSO INFORMED JANE THAT HER PERMIT WAS TO EXPIRE ON 5/08/13.

** RECEIVED CALL BACK FROM JANE, STATING THAT YES THEY WERE STILL HAVING PROBLEMS WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES, THE REASON WORK HAS NOT PROGRESSED AND WOULD CALL DSD TO GET GET A PERMIT EXTENSION.

SPOKE WITH BETTERWAY SERVICES, THEY MENTIONED THEY ARE CONSIDERING BACKING OUT OF THE THEIR CONTRACT DUE TO NO WORK BEING DONE(OWNER TAKING INSURANCE COMPANY TO COURT) AND POSSIBLE RISING COSTS. WILL SCHEDULE A 4/19/2013 F/U INSPECTION
01/30/2013 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved CHECKED P+ FOUND PERMIT HAD BEEN SECURED, SPOKE WITH TODD OF BETTER WAY SERVICES (CONTRACTOR) WHO EXPLAINED THAT OWNER WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH INSURANCE COMPANY, AND DUE TO INSURANCE NOT WILLING TO PAY FOR REPAIRS, BWS HAS BEEN PUT ON HOLD AND THAT IS WHY THERE HAVE BEEN NO ISPECTIONS COMPLETED ON THE PROJECT.
** CALLED AND SPOKE TO JANE MCCOLLUM, BUILDING MANAGER WHO CONFIRMED OWNERS HARD LUCK WITH INSURANCE COMPLANY BUT EXPECTS OWNER WILL HEAR SOMETHING FROM INSURANCE AS SOON AS THIS WEEK OR NEXT. JANE MENTIONED THAT PERMIT IS SECURED AND THAT SOON WORK WILL RESUME. WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW UP IN 45 DAYS.
