Insp. allowed entry, person making complaint not present, was contacted by phone, issues reviewed, shower curtain to short, striker plate for back door missing. double keyed dead bolt lock installed at wrought iron door. J-box installed above shower not installed per code requirements, use of unapproved electrical conductors & conductors are not protected. Improper penetration through wall, knock out missing from j-box. Hot water heated lacks T.P.R.V. drain line & improper installation of flue piping & cap. (not above roof line) Possible w/o/p, back porch enclosed for habitable space w/addition of bathroom. Insp. to ck for electrical up-grade. All interior receptacles ck out good. Service panel lacks directory. Contact made w/realtor, stated several attempts made to do corrections, tenants have not allowed entry to address issues. Shower curtain & new rod have been ready to install. Research required prior to issuing NOV. |
