03/09/2011 ENGINEERING - FINAL Approved THIS SITE IS BEING APPROVED AS REQUESTED BY RON BOOSE THE BUILDING OFFICIAL UTILIZING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS AS THE BASIS OF THE ACCEPTANCE: BUILDING OFFICIALS E-MAIL FOR THE VARIANCE OF THE ADA STANDARD, AND THE ACCEPTANCE LETTER FROM CITY OF TUCSON ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES.

Dave,

Per our conversation earlier today, the variance in cross slope of the accessible sidewalk and length of that variation is rather minor in the scope of the project and can be accepted as within normal construction tolerances. I believe this is the last remaining item to final this project and issue a permanent CO. Please result your remaining inspection accordingly.

Thank you,

Ron

Activity No.T10CM02211
After reviewing the Solid Waste container enclosure for the Tenant Improvement at the V.F.W.
Post 549, Activity No.T10CM02211, the constructed enclosure was found to be built not in
accordance with Environmental Services Solid Waste Disposal and Recycle Materials Standers
No. 6-01.0. The Environmental Services Department, will allow the Solid Waste enclosure as
constructed. However, because the enclosure width was constructed with a 9’-6” opening and not
a minimum of a 10 ft clear opening. A note must be added to the improvement plans stating that
the owner will be responsible for any damages to the Solid Waste enclosure which may result
from the day-to-day operation of solid waste collection services, for this facility.
