Automatic fire-extinguishing systems, other than automatic sprinkler systems, shall be designed, installed, inspected, tested and maintained in accordance with the provisions of this section and the applicable referenced standards. 904.5 Wet-chemical systems. Wet-chemical extinguishing systems shall be installed, maintained, periodically inspected and tested in accordance with NFPA 17A and their listing. ____Repair any deficiencies listed in your hood system annual inspection report. ____ All six burners do not seem to have proper coverage. Make sure your report states you have proper coverage. ____The portable deep fat fryer is not placed under a nozzle. Last year you were also ordered to move it under a nozzle to provide proper coverage. You complied but it has since been moved again. If this continues you will be issued a citation. |
