Exterior doors that have been rendered nonfunctional and that retain a functional door exterior appearance shall have a sign affixed to the exterior side of the door with the words THIS DOOR BLOCKED. ***To ensure that there is no confusion on the required exiting from the building the following must be completed A sign stating "NOT AN EXIT" affixed to the interior side of the door. A sign stating "THIS DOOR BLOCKED" affixed to the exterior side of the door. Fire marshal allowing exit configuration because of the small public showroom and the majority of store is employees only*** ____ Place the proper signage as stated above 1027.3 Exit sign illumination. Exit signs shall be internally or externally illuminated. The face of an exit sign illuminated from an external source shall have an intensity of not less than 5 foot-candles (54 lux).
