Portillo; Rick Saldate, Jr. Date: 08/06/2008 2:28 PM Subject: Possible WOP and Grading in a NUOS area Attachments: 100_3186.JPG CC: James Femling; Teresa Williams Hello, This concern was brought to my attention for the address of 2335 S. Reflection Vista Place (Houghton and Old Spanish Trail). There is currently a permit for an addition that is being done by Unique Construction 647-3113. The current permit number is T08CM01799. The homeowner is listed as HICKS, CORY G., for the parcel 136-09-2090. There was a previous permit for the house construction and a pool. There is now a tennis court and light post that is not on the 2005 color aerial photos so I do not believe that work was permitted. Additionally, while doing the construction on the addition, the contractor graded from Old Spanish Trail through the back yard. I have pulled the subdivision plat S01-042 Reflection Vista lots 1-5 and there is a 30' scenic route setback that is also designated as NUOS (Natural Undisturbed Open Space) along the south side of the lot and along the east side of the lot the NUOS appears to be 60-80' wide. I have attached a photo from Old Spanish Trail looking North across the property. Is either of these issues something you folks at DNR take care of? Please let me know and feel free to contact me if there is further clarification necessary or to meet with an inspector. Thanks, Nichole Kalahar Zormeier Environmental Inspector Development Services-Engineering 520 240-0153 nichole.kalahar@tucsonaz.gov |
