1008.1.8.5 Unlatching. The unlatching of any leaf shall not require more than one operation.
Exception: More than one operation is permitted for unlatching doors in the following locations:
1. Places of detention or restraint.
2. Where manually operated bolt locks are permitted by
Section 1008.1.8.4. [2nd inactive leaf]

______ This door must have only one "thumb turn" lock on the active leaf, and NO Other locks, bolts, bars, etc. The other non- active leaf may have the slide bolts. You may NOT change this to a roll down security door unless you have the express written permission of Developmental Services [791-5550], as this door currently has an exit sign above it.
