THE AREA ON THE EAST SIDE IS STILL BEING HELD TOGETHER BY CHAIN; PAD LOCK, MOVEMENT STILL IS ALLOWING MORE THAN 4" OPENING. 2ND AREA IS THE WEST SIDE WHERE IT IS CONNECTED TO THE SHOWER AREA BLOCK STRUCTURE, SECURITY BOLT IS MISSING, BARRIER NOT SECURED, THE BLOCK STRUCTURES MOVEMENT ALLOWS 4" OPENING, VACANT UNITS UNSECURED, #17 IS STILL OPENED BOTH FRONT & SLIDING GLASS DOOR. #6 OPENING UNSECURED, FRONT DOOR REAR SLIDING GLASS DOOR. 4R WINDOW # 23 STILL OPEN, UNSECURED, FRONT DOOR. WHILE ON SITE RESIDENT IN UNIT #31 ASKED IF I WOULD COME OUT TO HIS UNIT & LOOK @ CEILING FAN. RESIDENT STATED IT SPARKS & SMELLS COME OUT WHEN IT IS TURNED ON, WENT TO UNIT #31 DID TURN ON FAN, DID NOT SEE SPARKS OR SMELL, FAN DID WORK, LIGHT ON FAN WORKED, EXPLAINED ISSUE TO RESIDENT THAT SINCE IDID NOT SEE SPARKS FROM FAN & IT WAS OWRKING AS INTENDED I DO NOT HAVE JURISDICTION. I GAVE RESIDENT CONTACT #;S TO LEGAL AIDE & SOUTHWEST HOUSING COUN. STATES NO WAY HE IS GOING TO PAY RENT. (CITATION)
06/25/2005 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Correction Required 6/24/05, RE VISTED SITE, MET WITH KEN McDONALD FROM SECTION 8, ALSO ON SITE WAS CONTRACTOR ORACLE CONTROLS, (MO) BAD COMPRESSOR HAS ALL READY BEEN REPLACED, STILL WORKING ON INSTALLATION OF RENTAL CHILLER, JUST NEEDS TO BE WIRED IN, CHECKED TEMPS AT CHILLER, GOOD, WENT TO UNIT 3 FARTHEST BUILDING TO WEST OF CHILLER, ALL TEMPS CHECKED OUT GOOD, MO STATED WILL CALL ME WHEN RENTAL CHILLER IS UP AND RUNNING ALSO. AT THIS TIME COOLING ISSUES HAS BEEN ABATED. STILL HAVE 2 MORE ISSUES TO FOLLOW UP ON. F/U 6/ 27/05.
