10/27/2004 | COMPL - INITIAL INSPECTION | Violation | Currently there is an excessive high volume of combustible material, such as, but not limited to: Cardboard boxes obstructing exit width, a pick up truck full of combustible material, clothes, all stacked in a tightly small porch area. This high volume of combustible material and furnishings creates unnecessary fire hazard as well as a trip and fall hazard is described in the Tucson Fire Code as an unsafe condition and exit obstruction. TFC 1027.2, 1027.3 and 1027.4 which states; 1027.2 Reliability. Required exit accesses, exits or exit discharges shall be continuously maintained free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency… 1027.3 Obstructions. A means of egress shall be free from obstructions that would prevent its use…… 1027.4 Furnishings and decorations. Furnishings, decorations or other objects shall not be placed so as to obstruct exits….. The following shall be completed by November 11, 2004. All exposed combustible material and furnishings shall be removed from porch and driveway. A 3- foot path for exiting and egress shall be created from door to street (public way). |
