01/31/2005 TDOT - Road Project Approved Work is continuing with ROW fence installation, clearing, overexcavation and compaction of existing sewer line trenches, and instalaltion of drainage culverts.
01/21/2005 TDOT - Road Project Approved Work has begun on the east limit of the project and moving west. The installation of the north fence line has begun. Plant salvage work continuing ahead of road clearing and should be completed this week. Clearing and grubbing is progressing. Drainage pipe culvert and headwall work will begin next week. Compaction of of trench backfill over exisitng sanitary sewer line and roadway grading and excavtion expected next week.
01/14/2005 TDOT - Road Project Approved Survey of property line on going. Contractor beginning plant salvage. Clearing for new fence line to begin Monday 1/17/05. Clear and grub expected to be done week of 1/17 to 1/21. Recompaction of existing sanitary sewer trenches to begin same week. Some culvert work to begin along with headwall construction.
01/07/2005 TDOT - Road Project Approved Precon meeting was held on 1/4/05. Construction start date is 1/10/05.
12/17/2004 TDOT - Road Project Approved No update this week on the road job.
12/10/2004 TDOT - Road Project Approved The project was bid on 11/30/04. The low bid was $2, 715,734.90. Construction schedule is tentatively set to begin Jan 10, 2005 with completion by mid-May 2005.

Bids for the roadway construction project opened this week. Hunter Construction is the apparent low bidder, but a recommendation to award the construction contract to that company has not yet been made. Still on schedule for mid-January 2005 construction start.
11/26/2004 TDOT - Road Project Approved The road project is scheduled for bid opening on Tuesday, November 30. Anticipated construction start date of January 10, 2005 still holds. Project is scheduled for completion mid-May 2005.
