02/07/2020 | ENGR Engineering Final | DROBERTS | Approved | Entered by DROBERT5 - THE CONCERN IN THE PAST IS THAT THE PATHWAY THAT HAS BEEN PROVIDED IS NOT ADA COMPLIANT DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT IS MISSING TWO RAMPS IN THE PARKING AREA AND THE PEDESTRIANS HAVE TO STEP ON/OFF A VERTICAL CURB TO USE THE PATHWAY. STEVE SHIELDS HAS ADVISED US THAT SINCE THER IS AN ADA ACCESSACBLE PATH TO THE STREET THE ADDITIONAL PATHWAY DOES NOT NEED TO BE ACCESSABLE EVEN THOUGH IT IS THE SHORTER PATHWAY. THIS INSPECTION IS BEING APPROVED AT THIS TIME AS DIRECTED BY STEVE SHIELDS INTERPRETATION OF THE ZONING CODES FOR ACCESSABILITY. |
12/19/2019 | ENGR Engineering Final | BBENEDON | Not ready for Inspection | Entered by DMERANZ1 - Contractor needs to finish removing the temporary barriers and construction debris from the site as previously noted. It appears that the area disturbed during construction has not been stabilized. The new bus stop walkway has been constructed per plan with striping through the asphalt parking area. There are two curbs within this walkway that would present a hazard for a person with a disability. These hazards are not identified. There is an accessible route 250 feet to the west although it is not striped where it crosses the parking lot driveway. Dave Roberts has been notified of the potential hazard and will decide if this project can be approved |

06/27/2019 | ENGR Engineering Final | DROBERTS | Partial Approval | Entered by DMERANZ1 - MET ONSITE WITH THE CONTRACTOR TO LOOK AT A PROPOSED AREA FOR SIDEWALK FROM THE SITE OUT TO CORONA ROAD. IN THIS AREA THEY WILL NEED TO MEET WITH THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT ABOUT SOME OF THE PLANTS IN THE RIGHT OF WAY THAT ARE IN CONFLICT.
