08/05/2019 ENGR Engineering Final DROBERTS Partial Approval Entered by DMERANZ1 - NO OCCUPANCY (LIVING)(STOCKING ONLY). AT THIS TIME THE CONTRACTOR HAS TWO LIFT UNITS IN THE PARKING GARAGE UPPER LEVEL, IN THE ADA PARKING SPACES REPAIRING THE ROOF WRAP. ALSO ONE LIFT UNIT AT THE NORTH EAST CORNER PERFORMING OVER HEAD WORK ABOVE THE SIDEWALK. CURRENTLY I WAS ABLE TOO CHECK THE SLOPE OF THE ADA PARKING SPACES IN THE GARAGE AREA. THE ACCESS AISLE IS OUT OF COMPLIANCE ON THE CROSS SLOPE, THE PARKING SPACE APPEARS TO BE WITHIN TOLERANCE. THIS MAY CHANGE PENDING ON WHAT THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR THIS SITE DETERMINES HOW THE REPAIRS ARE TO BE MADE. ON THE SECOND LEVEL THE PARKING SPACES AND ACCESS AISLES ARE ALL NON COMPLIANT. THE CONTRACTORS REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUES AT HAND.

07/25/2019 ENGR Engineering Final DROBERTS Partial Approval Entered by DMERANZ1 - CREWS ARE STILL WORKING ON THE NORTH, EAST, AND WEST SIDES OF THIS SITE ON SITE WORK. THERE IS STILL A DRAINAGE CONCERN IN THE ALLEY ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE BUILDING APPROXIMATELY 50 TO 75 FEET SOUTH OF THE NORTHWEST CORN. THE ROOF DRAINAGE LINES AND THE CURRENT SLOPE GRADES IN THE ALLEY ALLOW THE WATER TO DRAIN BACK TOWARDS THE DOOR OPENINGS. I HAVE BEEN ADVISED BY THE CONTRACTOR THAT THEY HAVE AN RFI INTO THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR THIS CONCERN, THEY ARE WAITING FOR HIS RESPONSE.

Provide an engineer fix for the rainwater issues on the north west side of the building and alley. Water is crossing in emergency exit and running back into the parking garage due to improper grading of the alley.
