08/06/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Completed ON SITE WITH TFD, TEP, SW GAS AND OCCUPANTS OF THE UNIT. THERE WAS FIRE DAMAGE TO THE MOBILE HOME DUE TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM APPEARS TO HAVE IGNITED SOMEWHERE IN THE ELECTICAL PANEL ON THE WALL INSIDE THE MASTER BEDROOM. THE PEDESTAL WAS NOT TEP BUT MASTER METER. THERE WAS NO WAY TO LOCK THE PEDESTAL BOX. THE PEDESTAL WAS DISCONNECTED AND BREAKERS WERE TURNED OFF. OCCUPANTS WERE NOTIFIED NOT TO RECONNECT THE SYSTEM. THE FIRE SPREAD UNDERNEATH THE UNIT. CAUSING BARE AND BURNT WIRING. THERE WAS SLIGHT SMOKE DAMAGE AT THE INTERIOR PANEL. THE SHEATING FROM THE STURCTURE WAS SEPERATING BELOW THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR ELECTRICAL PANELS AND OUTSIDE ELEMENTS WERE VISIBLE FROM INSIDE. SW GAS PINNED THE METER BUT THE REP STATED THAT AT THIS TIME THERE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE MORE THAN HEAT DAMAGE TO THE PIPES. THEY WILL REINVESTIGATE AT TURN ON. THE TOP EXTERIOR LANDING TO THE STAIRS HAS DAMAGE DUE TO WATER. OCCUPANTS WERE NOTIFIED THAT IT IS UNSAFE FOR USE. THE UNIT IS UNSAFE TO OCCUPY SINCE THERE IS NO ELECTRIC OR GAS SERVICE. UNIT WAS SECURED BY OCCUPANTS. PERMITS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR REPAIRS. DAY TIME ENTRY ONLY.
