While on site at the Ocotillo Apartments and inside of unit 5104, I took temperature measurements that are well outside of the safe inside temperature levels. I measured the air temperature in each of the 5 rooms and the temperatures all read in the 90 degree or 88 degree range inside. I met with the management of the complex to inform them issue with the A/C inside of unit 5104. I met specifically with Austin Bedee, who is a regional manager for the Ocotillo Apartments. Mr. Bedee acknowledged and agreed to have at least a portable A/C unit installed before the end of the day (6-25-26), as of today (6-26-26), according to the tenant, the A/C unit was not installed inside apartment 5104. I am going back today to issue a citation and condemn unit 5104 if necessary. |
