the complaint that there is overgrown grass/weeds is accurate as the adjacent bus stop is surrounded. However the complaint of unpermitted uhaul rentals is, in my interpretation, misplaced. The zone is C-1 which allows for "commercial and other uses that are compatable with residential uses" and the allowed use of the property is a storefront according to the county assessor. As Uhaul operate its own businesses and subleases out storefronts like this for low impact rental uses, this meets that criteria. |

The C-1 zoning does not support a U-Haul rental business. I must verify if they received a business license for these rentals because The use falls under Vehicle Rental and Sales in the Use Tables at UDC 4.3.6. If they have a business license, someone messed up. |
