A broken fence can be seen on the western side of the front yard, the roof is peeling off across the entirety of the roof, there is overgrown vegetation throughout the parcel, there are 2 JMVs parked in the front yard, the backdoor of the property appears to be kicked in or missing, there is a large pile of trash in the front yard on the driveway. Upon insepction of the proeprty from the alley, I observed two dogs of medium build that met me at the fence with water bowls in their mouth. They appeared to be neglected and because nobody answered the door, I reported it to Animal control to investigate further. I spoke to the landlord and expressed my concern for the tenant, the dogs, and the state of the home. He will go to the property today and make contact with the tenant, animal control indicated they will send an investigator to assess if there is substantial neglect occuring. |
