I explained that a compliance permit is needed and maybe a building permit is needed. Portions of the was were over 6’ I measured a corner post at 6’ 10”. The contractor had tried to put short piles against the foundation to appear less that 6’ rather than existing grade. The wife explained the poles in some of the post to be used for a new porch connected to the existing carport. She showed me a pad in the back yard that she wants a shed built on. Pad is 120 sq. Ft. I explained that a compliance permit for setback will be needed. The information from the husband does not appear to be a licensed contractor. |
