02/28/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved I VISITED THE SITE, SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER FIRST AND PULLED UP THE COMPLAINT INFORMATION FIRST. FOUND THE COMPLAINT WAS CALLED IN BY THE OCCUPANT, MAINTANENCE HAD GONE OVER OPENED UP THE FRONT LIVINGROOM WALL OF THE LIVINGROOM, HAD REPLACED THE DRYWALL BUT NO TAPE OR TEXTURE. RECEIVED A 2ND CALL THAT IT WAS STILL LEAKING AND DID FIND A LEAK NOT IN THE LIVINGROOM BUT ALSO IN THE KITCHEN BELOW THE SINK SAME COPPER LINE. THEY WAITED TO SEE IF THE LINE CONTINUE LEAKING THEN CONTACTED THE OCCUPANT ON THE 22ND OF FEBRUARY TO INFORM HIM THAT THEY WANTED TO COME IN TO COMPLETE THE DRYWALL, TAPE, TEXTURE AND PAINT, BUT THE OCCUPANT HAS NOT RESPONDED. MANAGER HAD PICTURES OF EVERYTHING. SO I WENT TO THE UNIT, KNOCKED ON THE DOOR BUT RECEIVED NO ANSWER. I CONTACTED THE OCCUPANT BY PHONE, I ASKED HIM IF THERE WAS ANYMORE LEAKING, HE STATED THERE WAS NOT. I INFORMED HIM THAT THE MANAGER HAD TRIED CALLING HIM AND HAS HAD NO RETURN CALL, SHE LEFT HIM A VOICEMAIL TO COMPLETE THE REPAIRS. I INFORMED HIM THAT IN THE NEAR FUTURE THAT HE MIGHT FIND ANOTHER LEAK, THE MANAGEMENT WOULD CONSIDER PLACING HIM IN A DIFFERENT UNIT, BUT FOR NOW THEY WILL COMPLETE THE DRYWALL, TAPE, TEXTURE AND PAINT AND THEN CLEAN THE CARPET. I INFORMED HIM THAT MY CARD WAS TAPED TO HIS DOOR AND IF HE HAD FURTHER ISSUES TO GIVE ME A CALL. TODAYS INSPECTION FOUND WORK IN PROGRESS. THERE ARE NO VIOLATIONS. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
