08/19/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The office called and the AC is not working. Arrived and the tenant showed where the unit a split system and the handler was leaking water from the unit and ceiling and running down the walls on both sides. The water has been extracted and has a blower for the carpet to be dried. The tenant has a picture of the unit where it's leaking and has a cracked fitting on the condensation line that ties to the unit. The tenant was advised to not use the unit and a portable AC unit was brought in and placed in the living room area. The tenant was advised that due to the unit has just started that it will take some time to cool the area. Did check the temperature and was shooting 83 degrees to 86 degrees depending where the area was shot at. Will do N.O.V. The tenant stateed that the AC was working when turned off. RV.
09/01/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The repairs have been completed and all is working. The tenant has no other complaints on the unit and will be closing the case at this time. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
