06/18/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The supervisor called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire and may be a content fire. Arrived and the fire was in the kitchen area where a plastic cutting board was left on the stove with the flame on. The stove, range hood, microwave are a total lost. The drywall, the cabinets, the lighting all are damage. A wire and appears to be for the stove has heat damage. The wire was removed at a junction box by the son. The lightings were removed to have the electrical put back on. The sky light has been damage at the ceiling to the roof. The gas valve to the stove was turned off to keep the gas on. Southwest Gas was called to the site to check the gas due to the gas meter has been turned off. When doing the pressure test for the house line, the pressure test failed and the gas meter was pinned until repaired. Did place the Do Not Enter on the front and side window on the main house due to the damage and the clean up need to move the owner back in. The son for the owner will be signing the paperwork with the owner present. The family will be securing the house and the owner has a place to stay. Has 2-other units and they have no damage from the fire. RV.
10/20/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved Received a call from APS that the owner was staying in the house and the Do Not Enter stickers were still on the windows. Inspector Goodman was called to go to the site and check the condition of the house due to had a fire in the kitchen. The electric was on and the gas has been turned back on with a permit approval and finaled, T21CM05272. The kitchen has been cleaned out and almost completed with the needed repairs. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
