06/18/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE, UPON ARRIVAL FOUND METRO SUPPRESION SYSTEMS, THEY WERE THE COMPANY WORKING ON THE CHILLER SYSTEM. MET WITH THE MANAGER WHO INFORMED ME THE CHILLER SYSTEM WENT COMPLETELY DOWN LAST NIGHT AND METRO WAS THERE WORKING ON THE SYSTEM UNTIL MIDNIGHT AND SHOWED UP AGAIN EARLY THIS MORNING. METRO INFORMED MANAGEMENT THAT THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE TO ORDER A NEW MOTOR WHICH THEY ALREADY DID AND THE MOTOR WILL BE IN ON MON-TUES. MANAGER STATED THE OCCUPANT IN L-105 WAS IN THE OFFICE VERY FIRST THING THIS MORNING AND WAS MADE FULLING AWARE OF WHAT WAS GOING ON AT THAT TIME. MANAGER STATED THE OCCUPANT DOES HAVE 3 FANS IN THE UNIT AND WHEN A FLOOR A/C UNIT BECOMES AVAILABLE THEY WILL GET HERE AN ADDITIONAL FLOOR UNIT. I WAS MADE AWARE BY INSPECTOR GONZALEZ WHAT WAS GOING ON AND THAT THE CHILLER SYSTEM WAS UNDER REPAIR. SEVERAL UNITS WERE OUT AND MAINTANENCE IS CHECKING FILTERS IN EVERY UNIT TO MAKE SURE THEY DO OR DON'T NEED TO BE CHANGED OUT AND CHECKING OTHER MINOR REPAIRS. I INFORMED SUPERVISOR AND STAFF ABOUT WAS WAS GOING ON IN CASE OF ADDITIONAL CALLS. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
06/22/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE GOODMAN Approved REVISITED SITE, MET WITH THE MANAGER WHO STATED THE MORTOR FOR THE CHILLER SYSTEM HAD BEEN REPLACED AND SYSTEM WAS BACK UP AND RUNNING. A LETTER WAS SENT TO EACH UNIT INFORMING THEM IF THEY HAD ANY TROUBLES OR IS NEW FILTERS WERE REQUIRED TO PLEASE CONTACT MANAGEMENT AND THEY WOULD ADDRESS ANY PROBLEMS. CONTACTED LAURIE PUMPHREY AND INFORMED HER THAT THE SYSTEM WAS BACK UP AND RUNNING.
