02/21/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a oven fire. Arrived and the units have cleared the site. Did find the tenant in the unit and he showed me the oven that caught fire. The tenant was cooking pre cook chicken nuggets and place grease in the pan in the oven and the grease started to splatter on the burner in the oven and started a flame. The breaker was turned off on the sub-panel in the hallway and the plug was removed from the outlet. Did call the office and left a message with the emergency number and did not get called back. The tenant will remain in the unit at this time. Will check on Tuesday. RV.
02/23/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved Talk to the tenant and he has talk to the manager and they are working on getting a new oven and stove for the unit. Did call the office and left a message again due to no call back. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
