Did find the tenant in the unit and he showed me the oven that caught fire. The tenant was cooking pre cook chicken nuggets and place grease in the pan in the oven and the grease started to splatter on the burner in the oven and started a flame. The breaker was turned off on the sub-panel in the hallway and the plug was removed from the outlet. Did call the office and left a message with the emergency number and did not get called back. The tenant will remain in the unit at this time. Will check on Tuesday. RV. |
