01/03/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.P.D. on site with a car into building. Arrived and the T.P.D. officer was still on site and showed the damage. A truck hit the front masonry wall in the living room area and pushed the block into the living room. The window over the hole has been broken and bent. There is stress cracks in the masonry wall in the joint going north of the window to the neighboring unit. Has an electrical outlet in conduit that has been pushed into the living room area and the connectors are loose and not holding the conduit in place. Was able to leave the electrical on at this time and all is working through out the unit. The front is wedged and not able to open from the interior of the unit or the exterior of the unit where the security door is also wedged shut. The property manager was on site and signed the paperwork and has no other unit to move the tenant into. The tenant has no renter insurance and will call to find a place to stay for the night. The only damage was in the masonry wall and no other damage to the main structure. The unit was posted Do Not Enter on the front bedroom window. Did meet with the tenant on not being able to come and go into the unit and the property manager must know that the tenant is on the property. The property manager will call if not able to have the unit secured. RV.
12/14/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The permit has been issued T21CM02424 on 3-25-21 and the last inspection was 6-25-21 with lacking the fire final. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
