TPD OR TFD WAS NOT INVOLVED. I ASKED FOR THE COMPLAINTANT'S INFORMATION. CONTACTED THE OCCUPANT WHO STATED THEY HAVE BEEN WITHOUT WATER FOR 3 OR 4 DAYS. I ASKED IF SHE KNEW THE NATURE OF WHY THEY HAD WATER OFF FOR SO MANY DAYS AND SHE WAS UNSURE. OCCUPANT DID NOT KNOW THE MANAGER OR MAINTANENCE PEOPLES CONTACT INFORMATION. I TOLD HER I WOULD CONTACT HER WHEN I FIGURED OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON. SHE ALSO MENTIONED SOMEBODY FROM CODE ENFORCEMENT WAS OUT ON FRIDAY, TOLD HER TO CONTACT 911 IF SHE HAD ANY EMERGENCIES. I GOOGLED THE APT COMPLEX, MADE CONTACT, OBTAINED EMERGENCY MAINTANENCE INFORMATION AND CALLED THE NUMBER. EMERGENCY MAINTANENCE HAD A PERSON THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE FOR EVERY CALL RECEIVED. SHE DID INFORM ME THAT THE APT COMPLEX IS FOR ELDERLY NEEDING ASSISTANCE AND INFORMED ME THAT MANAGEMENT HAS KEPT THEM UPDATED WHEN REPAIRS ARE TO BE DONE AND THAT MOST PEOPLE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED. THE COMPLEX WAS NOTIFIED TODAY THAT WORK WAS BEING STARTED AROUND 11 AM AND WOULD BE COMPLETED AT APPROX 4:00 PM. EMERGENCY MAINTANENCE WILL SEND SOMEONE OUT TO TAKE CARE OF ANY CONCERNS BEING IT IS A ADULT CARE FACILITY. CODE ENFORCEMENT HAS NO FURTHER ISSUES AND I DID CONTACT THE CALLER AND INFORMED HER OF WHAT WAS TAKING PLACE AND WORK HOURS AND WHEN WATER WOULD BE TURNED BACK ON. SHE WAS STILL UNHAPPY. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
