06/24/2020 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-4. PERMITS REQUIRED. Unless otherwise exempt pursuant to section 301 of the Administrative Code, as adopted by reference per section 6-1 of this Code, or pursuant to any other ordinance or statute, no building, structure or building service equipment regulated by this chapter or by the technical codes adopted by the city shall be built, erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a permit first has been obtained from the building official in the manner provided in the administrative and building codes adopted by the city. The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe.

06/24/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Met with the management and work is being done in the office area. They had a roof leak from the AC on the roof from the condensation line. The flex for the AC in the area was replaced on a small section by the window area to the lobby area. The drywall was removed where wet or had some mold. The wood framing appears to be OK. Some of the wood members have been changed to new due to the moisture in the wood and were like for like with no changes in the framing. Some countertops have been removed at this time and will be re-done and are half walls. The drywall removed is less than 300 sq.ft. Will do N.O.V. and did a Stop Work Order on the front window. RV.
10/20/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The permit has been issued, T20CM05049 on 10-15-2020 and no inspection have been completed. The manager has called and the placard has been removed of the Stop Work Order that was posted on the front window of the office. At this time the case will be closed and will be inspected by Planning and Development Services Department. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
