Electrical facilities connected to or in any building or structure are to be maintained hazard-free and in a state of good repair. The electrical system shall be free from such hazards as bare wiring; overloaded circuits or services; equipment not properly grounded; over-fused circuits; misuse of wiring, including the use of extension cords in lieu of permanent wiring; non-approved wiring; and wiring exposed to moisture or extreme heat. Broken, loose, frayed, inoperable, defective or missing portions of the electrical service, lines, switches, outlets, fixtures and fixture coverings shall be repaired or replaced. (2) All electrical equipment, wiring and appliances shall be installed and maintained in a safe manner and in accordance with all applicable laws. |

ACACIA BOARDING MATERIAL USED- 2-2X3 WINDOW 3-3X4 WINDOW 2-3X7 DOORS UNIT #1- UNSAFE TO OCCUPY POSTING REMOVED, PERSONS FOUND OCCUPYING UNIT, REFUSE AND DEBRIS INSIDE UNIT, EXCESS INTERIOR STORAGE AND UNAPPROVED WIRING METHODS FOUND. IN SPEAKING TO TENANT AARON WHO SAYS HE HAS LIVED IN THE UNIT FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE MONTH SAYS HE PAID OWNER RENT AND WAS THE CURRENT TENANT. INSPECTOR EXPLAINED THE CURRENT SITUATION REGARDING BOTH UNITS #1 AND #2. THERE IS NOT TO BE ANY PERSONS OCCUPYING THE UNITS DUE TO UNAPPROVED AND HAZARDOUS ELECTRICAL WIRING THROUGHOUT BOTH UNITS. A PERMIT WAS TAKEN OUT FOR THE WORK HOWEVER NO INSPECTIONS HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED AND NO FINAL INSPECTION TO DETERMINE UNITS ELECTRICAL WIRING ARE SAFE. PROPERTY OWNER ALSO NOTIFIED OF THE VIOLATIONS FOUND. PROPERTY OWNER CONTESTS THAT IT WAS HER UNDERSTANDING THAT THE UNITS COULD HAVE OCCUPANTS AS SHE PULLED A PERMIT FOR THE ELECTRICAL AND SOME OF THE EXTERIOR WIRING WAS REMOVED. INSPECTOR EXPLAINED THE PERMIT PROCESS AND ALL REQUIRED INSPECTIONS NEEDED FROM THE CITY PRIOR TO HAVING UNITS OCCUPIED AGAIN, AS EXPLAINED AT TIME OF INITIAL CONDEMNMENT. ACTIONS TAKEN BY CE ARE AS FOLLOWS- TENANT IS TO VACANT THE DWELLING IMMEDIATELY, CE WILL REBOARD AND SECURE ALL WINDOW AND ENTRY DOOR OPENINGS, REPOST UNSAFE TO OCCUPY SIGNS ONTO UNIT, CE HAS CUT ELECTRIC POWER AT THE TEP POLE ONCE AGAIN, PROPERTY OWNER IS NOTIFIED OF CE ACTIONS TAKEN, PER CE SUPERVISOR, CE TO ISSUE 60 DAY NOTICE TO REPAIR OR DEMOLISH STRUCTURES DUE TO HISTORY OF CONTINUOUS VIOALTIONS AND POLICE ACTIVITY. DURING TIME OF ALLOWING TENANT TO REMOVE BELONGINGS FROM THE UNIT, TPD WAS CALLED TO KEEP THE PEACE. CE SUPERVISOR ALLOWED TENANTS TO HAVE THE REST OF THE DAY AND THE NEXT MORNING OF 11/08/2019 TO FINISH REMOVING ITEMS WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT NO ONE IS TO OCCUPY THE UNIT AT ANY TIME. INSPECTOR WILL RETURN 11/08/2019 AT 1:00 PM TO SECURE DWELLING. |

LOUIS ATTEMPT TO CALL CE SUPERVISION, HE BECAME AGGRESSIVE IN LANGUAGE AND BEHAIVOR. TPD WAS CALLED TO KEEP THE PEACE AS CE FINISHED BOARD UP. PROPERTY OWNER WAS CONTACTED AND UPDATED WITH CE'S FINISHED ACTIONS FOR UNIT #2. ACACIA BOARDING MATERIALS- 1-2X4 WINDOW 1-2X3 WINDOW 2-3X4 WINDOW 2-3X7 DOOR 1-3X7 DOOR RESECURE 1 HOUR STANDBY TIME DUE TPD ASSISTANCE NEEDED. |
