10/25/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | The office called that T.P.D. on site with a truck hitting the 6th Ave. bridge where the railroad tracks are on top of the bridge. Arrived with inspector Sam and the units were still on site and the box truck was wedged inside the bridge. They did try and reversed the truck and the rear wheels were not touching the pavement and were spinning. Garys Towning was called to the site and was able to move the truck and than was able to drive out to leave the site. The bridge did not have any major damage at this time from the impact of the accident. The people from Union Pacific Railroad were on site and were looking at the damage. While in route to the site was able to call Union Pacific Railroad to let them know of the accident to the bridge. When arriving the rep. from Union Pacific Railroad was stopping the traffic until the bridge was check by the rep.s from Union Pacific Railroad before allowing traffic over the bridge. Due to no structual damage from the impact at this time, left the site. Does have some damage from other incidents but from this incident. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
