04/30/2019	INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT	VIDAL	Approved	The Ward 5 office sent a E-mail that the property was having issues on the property and a car being worked on in the street. Arrived and found a car being stripped in the street. The person doing the work did not want to stop until I did go over that the work needs to stop now and if the car belongs to him, that he needs to take the vehicle to his property where he was coming from next door. Did go and check the electrical and the panel has been removed and the wires are cut at the pole. The gas meter has been pinned and the water was off with locks. Did not feel comfortable being on site due to the amount of people on the property and called for inspector Morales to come to the site. Once inspector Morales was on site and he checked and the water has been locked for tampering. The interior of the unit has been stripped of the water heater, the furnace, the stove, the cooler and has holes in the wall and appears to be checking for copper tubing or wiring in the walls and the ceilings. Did ask for the owner and the daughter came to meet and went over the issues on the property and the property will be condemned due to lacking all the utilities, the heating and cooling and hot water. The daughter was not able to have the property secured and called Arcaiden Industries to have the property secured on all the openings. Did ask the tenant to grab the items out that he needs and will need to have the owners let him in to get the other items out at a latter time. The daughter signed the paperwork when the unit was secured. The father has died and the mother is in a care facility. RV.
05/16/2019	INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE	VIDAL	Approved	The property has new owners and the property is being cleaned at this time. The interior is being cleaned and the previous owner has some items in the house and will be picked up at a later time. The lock box has been taken from the property and new locks are being installed at this time. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
