05/30/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The pastor of the church on the street was not on site. Did have another person in charged and met with him on site. This property is 3-houses combined to one unit as a shelter for trouble people. They were having session on the property at the time of the inspection. Was able to check where the people sleep and had no smoke detectors installed. Did go over that the smoke detectors needed to be installed today. Did advise that we will meet next week to go over other issues on the houses if to remain on site as a shelter care facility. Does have where the carport has been inclosed to a storage room at this time. The complaint was for rats, roaches and insects and they say they have none. RV.
06/24/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The pastor called and wanted to meet on site. Did go to the site and all the people have been removed from the property. The bunk beds have been removed. Did go over that the flooring is an issue due to the amount of bare spots and layers of the floor coverings. Has issues with the cabinets, some shelving blocking of the windows and other issues. The pastor did state that it would cost to much to get the property in compliance due to will be requiring a sprinkler system on all the 3-houses. They choose to vacate the houses rather than come into compliance for the shelter care facility. Due to the units are vacant and secured, will be closing the case. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
