10/03/2018 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-4. PERMITS REQUIRED. Unless otherwise exempt pursuant to section 301 of the Administrative Code, as adopted by reference per section 6-1 of this Code, or pursuant to any other ordinance or statute, no building, structure or building service equipment regulated by this chapter or by the technical codes adopted by the city shall be built, erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a permit first has been obtained from the building official in the manner provided in the administrative and building codes adopted by the city. The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe.

THE PARK FEEDERS ARE OVER HEAD, THE POWER POLE LOCATED IN SPACE 39 HAS BROKE IN HALF, THE STRAIN OF THE BREAK HAS SHIFTED THE RISER AND CAUSING THE EQUIPMENT DISCONNECT TO TWIST OFF THE BACKER BOARD. THE OVER HEAD FEEDERS ARE SUPPORTING THE BROKEN POLE. THE CITY ORDER IS TO HAVE A LICENSE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR TO DISCONNECT THE FEEDERS TO THE POLE TODAY. MANAGEMENT DID HIRE COMMONWEALTH ELECTRICAL COMPANY. LATER THAT DAY I MET THE CONTRACTOR ONSITE AND HE DID REMOVE THE FEEDERS FROM THE BROKE POWER POLE AND SECURE THEM TO THE ADJACENT POWER POLE. UNIT 39 TENANT WAS ISSUED AN ORDER TO VACANT NOTICE DUE TO POWER DISCONNECT. THE POWER POLE LOCATED ON THE VACANT SPACE ADJACENT TO THE MAIN SERVICE HAS MOVEMENT AND IS NOT PROPERLY SUPPORTED. THERE ARE OTHER CODE VIOLATIONS ON THE PROPERTY CONSISTING OF OVER 30 MOBILE HOMES, I ADVISED MANAGEMENT THAT I WOULD NEED ACCESS TO EACH SPACE TO CONDUCT INSPECTIONS OF THE EQUIPMENT DISCONNECTS.
