08/19/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The fire was in the master bedroom bathroom at the exhaust fan. The fire burned the rafter around the box for the exhaust fan and a hole in the sheathing. Drywall was pulled down to check for fire in the spaces inbetween the rafters. Some insulation has been pulled down due to has been wet and was burned. The wiring to the exhaust fan has burned. The electrical has been turned off at the sub-panel and the main breaker at the meter and a City of Tucson lock placed on the cover to not allow the power to be turned back on until the house has been check for hoarding. Has no clear paths to doors and windows. The owner has left the site and called Arcaiden Industries to have the hole on the roof covered. The condensation line has melted where the hole was make in the roof. The door was locked with the key that the owner gave to T.F.D. Did the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window with the N.O.V. to Vacate. RV.
10/16/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The permit has been issued, T18CM07005 on 9-6-18 and no inspection have been done. Have made contact with the contractor due to not able to find the owner. The contractor is not sure on what is going to happen due to the owner has died. The contractor also having issues with the H.O.A. due to the exterior repairs are being done by the H.O.A. and has a different insurance and the contractor is working with the owners insurance. If not able to do the work soon, the contractor will be removing itself. Due to the owner has died and has different insurances involved, this case will be closed. Violation Abated. RV.
