05/06/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Was called by communication that T.F.D. on site with flooded unit. Arrived and the units still on site and bathroom floor was flooded with water going to the hallway, bedroom, closet and fire units were removing water. The unit has no electic due to lacking payment. Was getting power from unit #8231 through extension cords. The extension cord was removed and the tenants from the other unit were warned about giving power to other unit not allowed. T.F.D. found the person sleeping on the bed and was removed and T.P.D. was called to the site due to the tenant kept trying to get back in. Was not able to find leaks and did observe that the shower head was towards the toilet area. The toilet looks like it was backing up. The water was turned off at the main valve for the unit until checked by maintenance. The front window was broken and was going to be secured. The tenant was removed due to the lack of electrical and the water on the floor. Called Arcaiden Industries to have the unit secured due to not able to contact the management. The unit posted Do No Enter on the front window plywood. Security did make contact with the manger and showed to the site and signed the paperwork. RV.
05/09/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The unit is vacant and secured. The management has not been in contact with the tenant since the vacating the unit. The posting is still in place. The management is in the process of evicting the tenant from the unit and no work has been done to make repairs to the unit. The carpet has been extracted and no water in the unit. At this time the case will be closed. No other damage was done to the unit since the last inspection. Violaton Abated, Close Case. RV.
