03/17/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called the T.P.D. on site with a vehicle in the building. Arrived and the car was still in the building. The vehicle hit a glass front with a glass door. The vehicles was removed by Gary's Towing. Was not able to make contact with the owner of the property. Did make contact with the owner of the business and he came to the site. Did call Arcaiden Industries to the property to secure the opening approx. 12 lf. x 8' high. 2-offices have been damaged and will not be able to use until cleaned up and the glass replaced. A wall of metal studs with drywall was pushed in and had a light switch in the wall. Did let the owner of the business that the office will not be able to be used until cleaned up and the contractor looks at the damage. The owner of the business was not able to make contact with the owner of the property and the owner of the business signed the paperwork. The owner of the business did walk around the areas to check for other damage and found none. Found some crack tiles in the ceiling and the owner of the business stated those were already like that. The sturcture was OK and only damage to the glass front. RV.
03/19/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The offices are vacant and secured and per the administrator Rick Saldate, the case will be closed due to working with the insurance company and getting a contractor. The other part of the business will be able to be used due to damage to those areas. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
