03/28/2018 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-4. PERMITS REQUIRED. Unless otherwise exempt pursuant to section 301 of the Administrative Code, as adopted by reference per section 6-1 of this Code, or pursuant to any other ordinance or statute, no building, structure or building service equipment regulated by this chapter or by the technical codes adopted by the city shall be built, erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a permit first has been obtained from the building official in the manner provided in the administrative and building codes adopted by the city. The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe.

10/03/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The owner called to meet on site due to was in town. Arrived and the weep holes have started to be installed on the east side of the property in the masonry wall. They started on the north side of the property and now on the south side of the property. They have installed 43 weep hole openings all on the east side of the masonry wall. The work will be done by tomorrow. The contractor was on and did go over the work that was being done to match the plans that were approved in 1986. The engineer from the other property next door did show on site but did not stay to meet. He was only looking at the work that was done. There is no permit or inspection being required and at this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
