Arrived and the weep holes have started to be installed on the east side of the property in the masonry wall. They started on the north side of the property and now on the south side of the property. They have installed 43 weep hole openings all on the east side of the masonry wall. The work will be done by tomorrow. The contractor was on and did go over the work that was being done to match the plans that were approved in 1986. The engineer from the other property next door did show on site but did not stay to meet. He was only looking at the work that was done. There is no permit or inspection being required and at this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. | |

Were on site was the owner of the property of the vacant lot, engineers water drainage and design, the apartment district manager for the owner of the property of the apartments. Was shown the issues of the drainage that should be and are blocked by the masonry wall lacking the weep holes where the drainage should continue through the property to access a set of drain pipes to the Rodeo Wash. The levels are different and the water would have to go up in order to enter the apartment property. The district manager for the apartment and the engineer switch numbers to start calling each other. There was ideas that were given on what could be done and will check with the owner of the property of the apartments. Will be meeting with the Building Offical on what was said and results that were left to discuss or research on issues that need to be checked on. RV. | |
